After leaving Simba SC in a high-profile move to Algerian club CR Belouizdad, life for attacking midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua appears to have taken an unexpected turn.
The 24-year-old star is now reportedly reconsidering his future after struggling to secure regular playing time with the Algerian side.
Ahoua was officially unveiled by CR Belouizdad earlier this year on a two-and-a-half-year contract after joining from Simba SC, where he had established himself as one of the standout performers in Tanzanian football.
At the time of his arrival, he was viewed as one of the clubâs major signings during the January transfer window and was expected to become a key player in the squad.
However, the situation has changed rapidly. Reports indicate that the attacking midfielder has grown frustrated with spending most of his time on the bench, leading him to consider leaving at the end of the season despite still having two years left on his contract.
In CR Belouizdadâs last nine matches, Ahoua has reportedly played only one minute, raising serious questions about his role in the teamâs tactical plans.
When he first arrived in Algeria, he was introduced as the clubâs ânew weaponâ due to the impressive form he displayed during his time at Simba SC.
Now, reports suggest that efforts to find him a new club have already started, with the player believed to be seeking an environment where he can play regularly, regain his rhythm, and continue developing his talent.
