Moussa Camara Set for Move to France’s FC Annecy After Simba Exit

Simba goalkeeper Moussa Camara, 27, is expected to join French Ligue 2 side FC Annecy at the end of the current season.

The Guinea international will arrive at the club as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Simba SC.

Reports indicate that Simba were willing to offer Camara a contract extension to keep him at the club, but the two parties were unable to reach an agreement on new terms.

Camara is expected to sign a two-year contract with FC Annecy once the final transfer formalities are completed.

His time at Simba has been marked by both success and challenges. He enjoyed a strong first full season with the club, establishing himself as a key figure between the posts.

However, his second season was heavily affected by a serious injury that kept him sidelined for an extended period.

As a result of those injury setbacks, Simba removed him from their squad during the mid-season transfer window and later signed Djibrilla Kassali as his replacement. Camara subsequently underwent knee surgery in Morocco earlier this season as part of his recovery process and efforts to return to action.
